About this story: The Easter Story (John 12–21; Luke 22–24)

Jesus rides into Jerusalem on a donkey, washes his friends’ feet at supper, and is arrested. Peter, scared, says three times that he doesn’t know him. Jesus dies on the cross, praying for forgiveness. On Sunday morning Mary Magdalene finds the tomb empty and meets Jesus alive, and later Jesus forgives Peter on the beach.

Kids play Peter and Mary Magdalene, make 5 choices, and use all 8 ways of knowing across 4 stops. The cross is told in a few gentle sentences, with no details of the suffering, and calm mode hides its picture. Jesus is never pictured; a sunrise marks him after Easter morning.
