Jealous officials trick King Darius into signing a law against praying to anyone but the king. Daniel keeps praying by his open window, three times a day, as he always has. He is put in the lions’ den, the king lies awake all night, and at dawn Daniel is found safe: God shut the lions’ mouths.
Kids play King Darius and Daniel, make 4 choices, and use all 8 ways of knowing across 4 stops. It ends with the king praising “the living God,” and leaves out what happened to the accusers (Daniel 6:24). Calm mode hides the lions.
